Job Overview:

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business by leveraging your sales expertise and industry knowledge. You will be responsible for proactively generating sales leads, converting them into sales, and developing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead outbound lead generation efforts and identify opportunities to secure and develop larger clients
  • Hunting and prospecting for new business across the country
  • Leading all aspects of the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Using sales prospecting tools and methodologies to drive outbound activities

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience within the UK IT/Hosting Industry is essential
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets/quotas
  • Ability to understand the client's business objectives and technical needs
  • This is a client-facing role and will include developing sales leads, contacting companies, arranging appointments with prospective clients, delivering presentations, winning contracts in a professional and polished manner

Working Hours:

The normal hours of the business are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive. Some flexibility can be offered in start and finish times as per discussion with the hiring manager.

For the first two weeks, hands-on sales and product training will be provided, on a full-time basis from our offices in Worcester or Reading. After training, hybrid and remote working arrangements can be discussed with your Line Manager.
