About The Role



The role of Service Desk Analyst at Paragon Banking Group PLC is a dynamic and challenging position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues with minimal supervision.



Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees and customers, via phone, email, or in-person
  • Manage user administration, including desktop setup and maintenance, within the limits of security policies
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to arrange on-site visits and resolve technical issues
  • Configure hardware for new starters, ensuring seamless onboarding
  • Ensure desktop operating systems and core applications are maintained according to agreed procedures
  • Support project initiatives and collaborate with other teams as required
  • Assist in the remediation of technical faults and security vulnerabilities
  • Perform infrequent travel to support remote locations, as needed
  • Manage ticket queues to ensure timely resolution and effective triage
  • Provide telephony system support, including creating and modifying user telephone numbers
  • Follow core processes and procedures, such as change control and incident logging
  • Maintain accurate records and update documentation, as necessary
