Aerospace Safety Manager Opportunity

Our client, a leading civil engineering company, is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Safety Manager to join their team based near Portsmouth. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Lead a team of Health and Safety advisors in promoting a culture of safety and providing training and support to employees.
  4. Review and update work procedures to ensure they meet industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Investigate and report on accidents and safety breaches, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest health, safety, and environment regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
  7. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe installation of equipment and materials.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs on health and safety awareness and best practices.
Requirements:
  1. A degree or certificate in Health and Safety or a related field.
  2. NEBOSH certification in construction.
  3. IOSH or graduate IOSH membership.
