The successful candidate will have a strong background in optics, product management, and technology, with a proven track record of driving product innovation and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, R&D, sales, applications engineering, and design engineering, to develop objectives, presentations, and financial proposals for new product initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Defining and developing overall vision and strategy for select products
- Developing new standard product, product lines, and custom capability offerings
- Defining and communicating product strategy and plan
- Developing business cases, business plans, product and capability roadmaps
- Collaborating with global sales, business development, marketing, R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, with two years of experience in application engineering, manufacturing engineering, product line engineering, and/or managing products in the optics field. Strong optics product, manufacturing, and technology knowledge, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills, are essential.
