Cloud Database Engineer

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Engineer to join our team in developing and managing the world's most advanced relational database service, Amazon Aurora. With over 3 years of experience in software development and at least 2 years of experience in system design or architecture, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions to enhance the performance, availability, and durability of Amazon Aurora.
Job Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to push the boundaries of the PostgreSQL engine and storage integration.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities within Aurora.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, drive business decisions with your technical input, and shape the future of relational databases. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a talented individual who can contribute to our mission of making Amazon Aurora the leading cloud database service.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work within a fast-moving startup environment. With a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take their career to the next level.
