Campaigns Officer

Hope Not Hate is seeking two Campaigns Officers to join our team in delivering grassroots anti-fascist campaigns in target areas. The successful candidates will be part of our campaigns team and will help deliver campaign objectives, contribute to creative ideas and campaign messages, and develop and deliver new and existing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of campaign objectives
  • Contribution to creative ideas and campaign messages
  • Development and delivery of new and existing campaigns
  • Recruitment and support of local activists
  • Spokesperson for the organisation where necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous campaign experience
  • Commitment to the anti-fascist cause
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience in local organising
  • Enthusiasm for the subject matter and issue
  • Ability to take the initiative and work under pressure

About Hope Not Hate:

Hope Not Hate is one of the largest and most successful political action groups in the country. We work with local community groups across the country to undermine the BNP and other far-right parties. Our focus is on ensuring that the BNP fails to get anyone elected onto the London Assembly and that they are defeated in the councils seats they are defending around the country.
