We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified engineer to manage and supervise projects related to public health infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and supervising projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring that all projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and completion deadlines are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Design, manage, and supervise projects, establish client briefs, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans, and agree deliverables.
  • Design Leadership: Agree level of service and project design duties with your Group Leader, for each project, understand relationship with fee.
  • Engineering Expertise: Carry out detailed design in accordance with industry guides, prepare specifications, reports, and design drawings, budget costs to programme.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise project works on site, workmanship, and testing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems.
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary.

This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
