Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to provide therapeutic support across our schools. As a key member of our team, you will lead whole-staff training and deliver therapy sessions according to your specialism.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will work collaboratively with teaching, support, and therapeutic colleagues to maximise progress for all children.
  • You will draw upon knowledge, skills, and expertise of other professionals to support children with challenging behaviour and complex social, emotional, and learning needs.
  • You will provide therapeutic support one-to-one, in small groups, or whole classes depending on need.

Requirements:

  1. Fully qualified therapist in own specialised field, associated registration with an appropriate body (e.g., BACP).
  2. Experience working with children and young people in challenging contexts.
  3. A range of experience in own specialised therapeutic field.
  4. High level of competence in English and mathematics.
  5. Appropriate experience operating in the classroom environment with children with SEN who present challenging behaviour.
  6. Further training or qualifications related to therapy, children, and young people, special educational needs, and/or leadership and management.

Your Benefits:

This is a permanent role paid between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, working term-time only.
