Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom Hanford Home Health Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention support to children and young people in educational settings.

Our team works closely with schools and colleges to provide timely advice and support to staff and parents, as well as delivering evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues.

You will need to have a core MHP qualification relevant to mental health, alongside postgraduate experience working with children and young people. You should also have a strong understanding of the principles and practice of CBT and clinical supervision.

About You

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in working with children and young people with mental health needs. You should be able to complete mental health assessments, provide practice supervision and support, and provide specialist care directly to children and young people and families.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to network with other agencies as central to the role. You should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

About Us

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals
  • Chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunities for career progression and professional development
