About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Coach to join our team in Walsall. As a key member of our outreach team, you will work closely with individuals and communities to empower them to take control of their health and wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Deliver face-to-face, telephonic, and digital health coaching support to individuals from a wide range of community and healthcare settings.
  • Facilitate people in establishing and attaining health-promoting goals, focusing on lifestyle behaviour change, including healthy eating, physical activity, and weight management.
  • Work in line with business and contract performance requirements, implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and fulfilling policies and quality management framework expectations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant health coaching qualification or an accredited health coaching skills programme.
  • A minimum of six months of direct health coaching delivery experience.
  • Experience in delivering behaviour change interventions for specific lifestyle-related issues, such as smoking cessation, physical activity, and NHS Health Checks.
