As a key member of the M&A team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic insights to support client decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Develop and refine financial models to support investment recommendations, including DCF, LBO, and merger models.
- Transaction Support: Assist senior bankers in managing all stages of M&A transactions, from pitch to close, including due diligence and data room management.
- Market Research & Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on potential targets and acquisition opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients based on financial and strategic analyses.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in M&A or corporate finance from a leading investment bank or reputable buyside/sellside advisory firm.
- Technical Expertise: Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and ability to build complex models for valuation and sensitivity analysis.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven track record in financial and strategic analysis with excellent attention to detail and deep understanding of financial statements.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to produce high-quality, client-ready deliverables with clear and impactful presentation skills.
- European Language Skills: Fluency in one or more European languages (French, German, Spanish, or Italian) is highly desirable.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
