About the Role

This Helpdesk Operator position is available at Royal Stoke University Hospitals, working with Sodexo. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for technical facilities management service requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • The primary role is to answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner, accurately logging all service requests using relevant systems.
  • Tasks will be assigned to the relevant Sodexo facilities management teams for completion, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Reports will be prepared and distributed as required, supporting the team's operational needs.
  • General administrative support will be provided to the team as needed, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have computer literacy with MS office packages, demonstrating proficiency in standard software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethos are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure is crucial, ensuring effective service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is £12.75 per hour, with a 20% pay enhancement between 12am and 5am. Work Schedule
  • The work schedule is 25 hours per week, pro-rata'd, Monday to Sunday, with 4 on 4 off shifts from 10pm to 6am.
