About the Role

You will be a key member of the Pay and People Operations Team, supporting the Senior Analyst in delivering exceptional client experience across Pay and People for RSM. This newly created role will focus on ensuring our premium product strategy is consistently employed, and our clients receive the highest level of service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of pay gap reports and pay and people administration, including People Manager administration, P11D service, and pension administration service.
  • Review current processes and identify enhancements, working closely with the Team Leader and wider Pay and People team members.
  • Enhance the People Manager experience for users, contributing to the goal of providing a premium service for RSM clients.
  • Upgrade the Gender Pay Gap reporting experience for clients, incorporating enhancements in technology wherever possible.
  • Provide operational support to Payroll and HR Consultancy teams.
  • Assist with HR administration, including data entry and updating electronic files.
  • Support implementations and training for new and existing People Manager clients.
  • Draft and provide gender pay gap calculations to clients using Payrite, Inpay, and RSM's manual calculator solutions.
  • Respond to clients efficiently within agreed timescales.
About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal applicant will have strong administration and/or operations experience, ideally within a payroll and/or HR team. They will have a demonstrated passion for process review and improvement, strong numerical abilities, and proven knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience of the P11D process and other cyclical HR and payroll tasks are advantageous.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (Excel to a high level).
  • Good numeracy.
  • Demonstrate confidence and professionalism while being approachable.
  • Resilience and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent and positive interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills, ensuring project timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to review and improve service and processes, looking for enhancements in how we work to deliver increased efficiencies, automation, and digital transformation.
