About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As an experienced Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Short-Term & Long-Term Capacity Planning: Develop and implement effective capacity plans to meet the demands of our multinational customers.
  2. Production Sequencing: Coordinate the sequencing of production requirements to ensure timely delivery of aircraft components.
  3. Material Requirements Forecasting: Analyze and forecast material requirements to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  4. ERP Management: Utilize SAP S4/HANA software to manage and optimize our production processes.
  5. Collaboration with Production Team: Work closely with our Barlborough Production & Warehouse team to ensure production prioritization, material availability, and stock optimization.
  6. Customer Service & Problem Resolution: Serve as the key planning and customer service contact for multi-national customers, ensuring effective problem resolution and short-term order prioritization requests.
  7. Communication with Customer Planning Teams: Proactively communicate with customer planning teams to ensure up-to-date and accurate information is shared, fostering a positive and collaborative working relationship.
Requirements
  1. Experience with SAP: Essential experience using SAP S4/HANA software.
  2. Production Planning: Proven experience in production planning and coordination.
  3. Strong IT Skills: Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, required.
  4. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and challenge data.
