About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team at our brand new Care Inspectorate registered residential rehabilitation service in West Aberdeenshire. As a Waking Night Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care and guidance for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and facilitate the evening running of the Therapeutic Community programme at Rae House Residential Service.
  • Coordinate the service users' tasks and activities.
  • Provide waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised.
  • Organise and facilitate the residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities.
  • Monitor and administer medication to service users.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
  • An understanding of working with families, and individuals in the substance use sector or related field.
  • The ability to be innovative and flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.
  • Be able to work effectively with multi-agencies, whilst maintaining the excellent reputation of the service.
  • Knowledge of adult protection is essential as you will be working with vulnerable adults in a residential setting.
