About the Role:

Austin Fraser is looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead their financial team.

Salary: £72,500 - £92,500 per annum

Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  1. Leading the Financial Accounting team, covering Group/Regional Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
  2. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports for the group.
  3. Provide strategic financial advice to the senior leadership team.
  4. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
  5. Drive financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems.
  7. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  8. Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  9. Lead audits and liaise with external auditors.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including standards of performance and health and safety policy.
  11. Assist with the training of colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing and developing a finance team, with at least 3+ years of team management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
