Project Start Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical plant, and equipment.

About the Role
  • Salary: £40,034 per annum, including on-call every 1 in 4 weeks + travel time + access to pool car/van + health care + pension scheme + 33 days annual leave.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supervising a team within an electrical maintenance environment and hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ Electrical or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant, and equipment, ensuring compliance with the Company Health and Safety policy.
  • Carry out management duties, provide on-site coaching, and participate in the recruitment and selection process of FM engineering colleagues.
  • Support the Hard Services Manager on technical, organisational, and people issues, providing cover during times of absence, holidays, and meetings.
  • Deal promptly with all Help Desk calls, ensuring effective resolution and escalation where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of supervising a team within an electrical maintenance environment.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Electrical or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent).
  • CSCS/ECS Skill card – Supervisor Grade.
