Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing proposals for electrical controls engineering projects, including automotive body shop automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Generate costs for technical solutions presented - mechanical, electrical, and software.
  2. Conduct cost-based research and analysis in collaboration with stakeholders.
  3. Identify and mitigate cost risks.

Requirements

  1. Experience in preparing bids for electrical controls engineering work.
  2. Commercial acumen and strong organizational skills.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office packages and ability to read CAD drawings.
  4. Good technical literacy skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in electrical controls engineering, preferably with experience in responding to RFQs and preparing proposals.
  2. Knowledge of manufacturing automation methods and processes.
  3. Understanding of project costs, including design, management, manufacture, installation, and suppliers.
