The key purpose of the Senior Department Manager's role is to lead and manage our Private Clients Department, which includes Wills, Probate and Trust work. They will be expected to ensure the delivery of the agreed departmental business plan and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on the law and legal issues relating to their case.
- Supervising the implementation of agreements.
Departmental Management:
The Director of Client Services will lead and manage the department on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with the SRA code of practice. They will share the business plan with the team, ensuring that all members are aware of the targets, understand what is required and their individual contribution.
Person Specification:
- PQE Solicitor
- Microsoft Office with excellent keyboard skills
- Knowledge of the Legal Secretary's duties and responsibilities
- 6 years PQE Solicitor
- Proven track record in delivery and attainment of individual and group targets
- Evidence of team management
- Client Relationships
- Knowledge of case management software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills
- A professional approach to work
- Ability to instill client confidence
- Demonstrates integrity
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Commercial awareness and negotiating skills
