Senior Leadership Role:

Moray Council invites applications for a highly experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Depute Head Teacher. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the school's direction, managing staff, and developing policies to promote student success.

You will work closely with the Head Teacher, teachers, and other staff members to achieve our shared goals. Your leadership skills, combined with your expertise in education, will be instrumental in shaping the future of our schools.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the school's direction, focusing on excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and implement effective policies for pupil behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Manage and develop staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our curriculum, meeting national standards and regulations.
  • Support the Parent Council, advising on key decisions.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local communities, businesses, and educational institutions.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all staff and students, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. A relocation package of £5400 (exclusive of VAT) may be available.
