We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Drivers Mate. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for assisting our drivers in delivering products to customer premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist drivers in parking and maneuvering company vehicles, as well as loading and unloading vehicles as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.
  • Communicate with customers regarding estimated delivery times and any issues that may arise.
  • Work effectively as part of a two-person team, delivering products on a multidrop basis.
Requirements
  • Experience in dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to complete manual handling tasks, such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
  • Can-do attitude with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
