Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Support Assistant to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a Logistics Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis.
  • Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle, as well as loading and unloading vehicles as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.
  • Communicate with customers to inform them of their estimated time of delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
  • Can-do attitude with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).
