About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Assistant to join our Corporate Team at Sheridans. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our senior lawyers, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to senior lawyers, including typing and amending correspondence and documents, checking and acting upon emails, and diary management.
  • Organize travel and itineraries, process fee earner expenses, and initiate and complete the setting up of new clients.
  • Prepare and coordinate billing and accounting tasks, and work closely with other departmental PAs and business support departments.
  • Undertake relevant handover of work, using clear communication and instructions to relevant fee earners and PAs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • High level effective experience as a float PA, secretary or PA for senior partners working in a legal environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to the pace and culture of each department.
  • Proactive and motivated to seek work and be helpful.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and proven ability to adhere to confidentiality and compliance demands.
