SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at SENDhelp Limited in Greenford. As a Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to create individualised learning plans and contribute to the overall development of your students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons designed to meet the specific needs of students with SEN in Greenford.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to ensure each student's learning and development needs are met.
  • Develop and implement Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) that track and enhance student progress.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Liaise with parents and carers, offering regular updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Contribute to whole-school development, participating in regular training and team meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working in an SEN environment is highly desirable, especially in a primary setting.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing the educational needs of children with complex learning difficulties.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
