Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business and Project Support Administrator to join our Digital Services team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our safety and governance personnel, ensuring the smooth operation of our digital projects.

This role will involve diary management, handling correspondence, and day-to-day requests, as well as administration for team meetings, quality improvement projects, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to deliver projects and provide high-quality reports to senior managers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the safety and governance personnel, including diary management, correspondence, and day-to-day requests.
    • Assist with the organization of team meetings, quality improvement projects, and stakeholder management.
  • Project Support
    • Support the senior leadership team in delivering projects, including collating, analyzing, and manipulating data to compile high-quality reports.
    • Assist with the development of spreadsheets, presentations, and other documentation to support project delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Able to demonstrate a good level of general education to Grade C and above GCSE level in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
    • RSA III or equivalent and/or Word Processing Qualification.
    • NVQ Level 3 Administration qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Substantial experience in the use of IT systems, including Word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience of working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
    • Experience of negotiating and obtaining information.
    • Experience of analyzing and presenting data.
  • Skills
    • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and establish good working relationships at all levels.
    • Ability to arrange and minute meetings.
    • Ability to work and act on own initiative.
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
    • Ability to complete tasks and projects on time and to a high standard, demonstrating a can-do attitude.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Proactive – to anticipate difficulties and deal with them without reference to the Director.

    Knowledge
    • Previous experience of working as a Personal Assistant.
