We are looking for an experienced Industrial Robot Technician to join our Paint Operations team at Banbury. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of automated paint processes, ensuring equipment runs effectively to support safety, quality, and production goals.

Job Description
  • Safety & Quality Assurance

You will ensure rapid response to equipment issues, adhering to standardised procedures and performing regular equipment checks. You must also escalate issues as needed and contribute to risk management.

  • Maintenance Performance

This role involves using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system to suggest improvements for maintenance performance, leading and supporting equipment repairs, and maintaining an organised spare parts inventory and supporting equipment installations for new technologies.

  • Candidate Profile

A qualified technician with a mechanical/electrical apprenticeship, a solid understanding of fluid flow schematics, and experience in robotic paint systems (B+M, Fanuc), is required. Candidates should have a safety-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable working independently while coordinating with other departments.

  • £58,305 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Mechanical/electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of bell applicators, spray guns, and B+M robotic systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems using fluid flow schematics
