- Open and close files, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Complete anti-money laundering and compliance procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct legal searches, providing critical information for conveyancing transactions.
- Prepare quotations, providing clients with clear and concise estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents via phone and in-person meetings.
- Prepare contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process completions, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
- Utilize case management systems to track and manage conveyancing matters.
- Perform general administrative duties, supporting the conveyancing team.
Requirements:
- Proven understanding of the conveyancing process and previous experience as an assistant or secretary.
- Confident telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents.
- Excellent organizational and administration skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
