We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Gas Manager to join our in-house maintenance company, Property Plus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of gas compliance across our portfolio of properties, in accordance with legislative regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all Gas Works, providing guidance and advice on legislative requirements, risk management, and safe working practices.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including occupied and non-occupied properties.
- Lead and manage a team of gas engineers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Fully qualified Gas Engineer with a strong understanding of legislative regulations and industry standards.
- Holder of SMSTS qualification and/or IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- Level 4/5 CIH Qualification in Housing or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of managing a large central heating programme of works and leading a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
