**Job Overview**

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist to join their team in Guernsey, Channel Islands. This exciting opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical and laboratory work, with a focus on transfusion medicine and haematology.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £62,537, inclusive of a bonus of £1,605. In addition, they will enjoy a 36% evening/Saturday enhancement and 72% Sunday/BH enhancement, resulting in a total annual package of approximately £64,149.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the promotion of safe transfusion practice across the Island
  • Work as part of the Transfusion and Haematology laboratory team
  • Liaise with numerous staff groups in an investigative, advisory, and training capacity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Biomedical Scientist registration with the HCPC
  • A recognized post-graduate Transfusion qualification
  • Current or recent UK experience at NHS Band 6 or 7 level (or independent sector equivalent) with a full range of Transfusion and Haematology skills
