Job Overview

The Hamlin Knight is seeking a skilled Training Officer to join their team in Warwick. This full-time position involves developing training materials, coordinating courses, and ensuring high-quality content delivery across various methodologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Training Development Team Supervision:
    • Ensure the organization's strategy is understood by the development team.
    • Set targets and monitor performance in the development team.
  • Course Coordination:
    • Plan and review the annual calendar of Academy training courses, including scheduling dates and sessions, and organizing resources and trainers.
    • Coordinate course registrations, including enquiries, booking confirmations, and payment processing.
    • Organize the setup of all training courses, including delegate lists, course materials, and virtual classrooms.
    • Handle course rescheduling or cancellations, communicating changes to both trainers and delegates as necessary.
  • Training Programmes:
    • Work with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training solutions that meet the needs of members, students, and the property industry.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, incorporating feedback from learners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to enhance quality.
    • Collaborate with regulatory and awarding bodies to accredit training programs.
  • Developing Course Materials:
    • Ensure trainers and subject matter experts possess current and relevant knowledge and skills.
    • Manage the development of training materials through a quality assurance process to ensure courses are current, fit for purpose, and meet industry needs.
    • Review training materials annually or as required, updating them to reflect current practices, processes, legislation, and industry trends.
    • Proofread and edit materials to support branding requirements.
    • Ensure materials are accessible to diverse learners and address different learning styles.
    • Apply modern instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Supporting Relationships with Industry Suppliers and Updating Webinars:
    • Liaise with events and commercial teams, industry suppliers, and internal staff members to coordinate and deliver webinars, ensuring effective planning.
    • Gather intelligence and feedback from these events to support new course delivery opportunities.
  • Learning Management System:
    • Develop and maintain a Learning Management System (LMS) that enhances the experience of students/learners.
    • Manage the development of new materials and explore innovative ways to deliver learning.
    • Support the loading and creation of course pages with interactive materials.
  • Support Budget Management:
    • Process invoices and purchase orders within predefined budgets.

Estimated Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
