About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an excellent service and that our sales and profits are maximized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store team, providing effective leadership, training, and development
  • Maximize store sales and profits through effective merchandising and stock management
  • Ensure that our customers receive an excellent service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly
  • Work closely with the wider Age UK team to achieve our charitable objectives
  • Manage the store's budget, ensuring that we are operating within our financial targets
Requirements
  • Experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • IT literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to use a range of software applications
