About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the care of our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct observations and competency checks to ensure staff are meeting the required standards
  • Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments, updating these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager
  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage and identifying potential gaps
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure that care standards are maintained

Requirements

  • Supervisory/Coaching qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification
  • Experience of working with clients with complex care needs
  • Excellent assessment skills and knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist, and enteral feeding
  • Ability to work flexibly, autonomously, and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
