About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the care of our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct observations and competency checks to ensure staff are meeting the required standards.
  • Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments, updating these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.
  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring that team members are working to the best of their ability at all times.
  • Attend team meetings and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work regular clinical shifts with clients to ensure a continued awareness of their needs.

Requirements

  • A supervisory/Coaching qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification.
  • Experience of working with clients with complex care needs.
  • Excellent assessment skills and knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist, and enteral feeding.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan effectively and manage time efficiently.
