Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our catering team at Horder Healthcare on a temporary basis.

About the Role

As Executive Sous Chef, you will assist the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, taking charge in their absence. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation and service, as well as contributing to menu planning and preparation.

About You
  • You will have City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • You should have exposure to menu planning and a keen interest in current food and dietary trends.
  • You will be proactive, forward-thinking, and passionate about continued learning.
