Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Early Years Team in North Ayrshire as a highly skilled leader. As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting high quality Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision across the region.

We are seeking an individual with experience in leadership roles within ELC, a deep understanding of early education principles, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,500 - £35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. As a member of the North Ayrshire Council team, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and holiday entitlement.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme check prior to commencement of employment. Please note that the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18) will be deducted from your wages following commencement of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead initiatives to improve ELC provision in North Ayrshire
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of work
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field
  • Significant experience in leadership roles within ELC
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
