Job Overview

A dynamic and fast-paced finance team within a growing company, located on the outskirts of Lancaster, is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support the senior management team. This role will involve preparing insightful management reports at a group level, providing in-depth commentary to aid decision-making across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare comprehensive group management accounts, including detailed analysis for key stakeholders.
  2. Oversee the company's month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  3. Manage the Group reporting package used for management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliations.
  4. Assist with the preparation of half-year and full-year group reporting, encompassing group consolidation, investor presentations, results announcements, data books, and end-to-end Annual Report production.
  5. Support the group finance team with external audit, tax computations, and HMRC filings.
  6. Evaluate commercial bids by developing robust financial packages with accurate costings.
  7. Collaborate on projects as directed by the Director of Finance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  2. Be self-motivated and confident when interacting with senior stakeholders.
  3. Possess strong technical and analytical skills.
  4. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to build close working relationships across diverse individuals.
  6. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  7. Show a proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
