Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Davis Ogilvie and Partners Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geotechnical engineering services to our clients.

• Conduct site investigations and undertake soil sampling, testing, and analysis to inform geotechnical design and construction.
• Perform slope stability analysis, liquefaction studies, and design retaining walls, foundations, and piles.
• Provide construction monitoring and supervision services to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions to complex geotechnical problems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

• A degree qualification in geotechnical engineering or postgraduate qualification in engineering geology (or similar).
• A minimum of three years of relevant New Zealand experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
