Parking Services Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team as a Parking Services Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of efficient and effective parking services to members of the public.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of off-street car parks and operating sites using computerised car park management systems and hardware.
- Deliver the Shopmobility Scheme by issuing equipment, assessing users, taking bookings, answering enquiries and maintaining wheelchairs.
- Instruct customers in the safe use of equipment to ensure they are competent and confident in its use.
- Meet, collect and transport Dial A Ride customers from designated pick-up points within the city centre.
- Patrol and inspect off-street pay & display car parks and pay on foot multistory car parks in accordance with relevant legislation and technical standards.
- Perform daily checks on off- and on-street pay on foot and pay and display machines.
Working Hours: Average 21 hours per week, on shift. Shift pattern will be on a 2-week rotation.
