About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Keyworker to join our team in supporting women involved in the Criminal Justice System. The successful candidate will have a strong background in advocacy and relationship building, with excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and determined, with a passion for empowering women to lead safe, non-violent lives. They will have good knowledge of the criminal justice system and be aware of other support provisions.

As a Community Keyworker, you will work closely with women on Probation in the Community and those being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You will provide holistic one-to-one community support, meeting women in their designated borough and co-locating with other agencies.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will build relationships with statutory and non-statutory agencies in local communities, referring pathways and providing a whole-system approach to supporting individuals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building trust and rapport with women
  • Providing individualised support packages
  • Collaborating with partner agencies
