About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team at Elekta AB. As a key member of our international legal team, you will provide legal support for sales and service contracts in Region Europe and full legal support to all entities within REU.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with lawyers in the legal group to provide high-quality legal support.
  2. Incorporate Elekta Values and quality systems into all department functions and responsibilities.
  3. Actively participate in the Elekta Legal Department's global forums, particularly the Commercial forum.
  4. Provide full legal support to the Elekta legal entities in REU, including supporting on employment and real estate matters.
  5. Provide Corporate Governance compliance activities and Elekta internal governance requirements.
  6. Provide legal support to REU, including legal risk reviews, analysis, and recommendations.
Requirements
  1. Graduate from English law school with strong academic credentials.
  2. Member, in good standing, of local bar association.
  3. At least 1 year of full-time practice as a qualified lawyer with in-house legal experience.
  4. General understanding of laws and regulations relating to patient/data privacy, corporate compliance, anti-corruption, and anti-competition.
  5. Knowledge of the Medical Device Industry, including Regulatory knowledge.
  6. Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-activity environment with smart and creative people.
  7. Good negotiation, oral and written communication, presentation, training, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
