Job Title: Legal Counsel - M&A Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, global business and contribute to the development and enhancement of the legal function. As a Legal Counsel - M&A Specialist, you will work closely with the senior management to help accelerate the growth of the business through acquisitions and organic growth, and position the Group for further success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support international M&A activity, including legal responsibility for a pipeline of transactions.
  • Provide general legal support and advice across various areas, including commercial, IP, IT, procurement, litigation, governance, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Group and divisional legal teams, as well as key functions and management across the business.
  • Ensure the Group's businesses are compliant and risks are effectively managed.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of dealing with complex legal issues.
  • Able to think strategically and creatively, identifying and resolving legal issues.
  • Interest in understanding the business in depth and operating within a dynamic, international context.
  • Willingness to work in areas of law that are new to the candidate with appropriate support.
  • Able to work well as a team member and build rapport and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
