Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at a 'Good' Primary School in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching SEN students in a mainstream school setting and will work closely with the school's leadership team to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs and SEMH Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach SEN students in a mainstream school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to support students with Special Educational Needs and SEMH Needs
  • Work closely with the school's leadership team to develop and implement effective strategies to support students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • UK QTS
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the variety of SEND & SEMH Needs
  • Experience of teaching SEN students in a mainstream school setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
