Learning Support Assistant Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a Year 3 setting. This full-time position requires a commitment to supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and a passion for fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to Year 3 pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
• Implement and support positive behaviour strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
• Provide personal care and assistance as required, ensuring the well-being and dignity of all pupils.
• Track and record pupil progress, providing detailed feedback to teachers and parents to support ongoing development.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
