We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented musician to teach rock and pop music to children. As a Band Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy band sessions, teaching multiple instruments in a band setting, and fostering relationships with parents, schools, and the community.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time, permanent position that offers job security and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people.
  • The salary for this role is £26,000 per annum, which includes generous holiday packages and fuel contributions.
  • You will need to have a valid driving license and access to your own car, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your schedule effectively.
  • We are looking for a confident individual who loves music and can build positive relationships with both adults and children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive rock and pop band sessions to groups of children at up to 10 primary schools per week.
  • Teach multiple instruments in a band setting, including drums, keyboard, guitar, and vocals.
  • Foster relationships with parents, schools, and the community through regular communication and updates.
  • Help pupils shine in their first live performances in front of an audience.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks, such as scheduling and record-keeping.
