We're seeking an ambitious and experienced Chef to join our team at Chartwells, the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing changes
- Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
- Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
- Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Experience supervising a team
- Experience in a similar Chef role
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Flexible approach to working
