About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Application Developer to join our team at Proofpoint. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for our Microsoft D365 ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze project functional requirements, test plans, and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with established business processes.
  • Analyze requirements, develop technical design specifications, and create custom reports using Power BI.
  • Write SQL queries/scripts to convert data into formats supported on the D365 platform.
  • Modify existing codes to optimize/maintain D365 applications.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from end-users and/or technical staff regarding application, system, and reporting issues.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, solve, and manage systems problems under time constraints with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Dynamics 365 F&O development experience required.
  • Experience working with financial related applications and vendors to resolve and respond to financial system issues and inquiries.
  • Development skills in X++ and customization patterns using extensions and event handlers preferred.
  • Experience with AX/D365 report development and Power BI, including QA ability.
