About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team at Proofpoint. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our finance and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze project functional requirements, test plans, and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with established business processes.
  • Analyze requirements, develop technical design specifications, and create custom solutions using Microsoft D365 ERP system.
  • Work closely with Global Accounting and Finance teams to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot financial system issues, and analyze current business and financial practices.
  • Act as a liaison between finance business groups and IT teams, explaining technical solutions to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop and maintain software applications, integrations, and reports using X++ and customization patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with X++ and customization patterns, as well as data migration using data entities with Data Management Framework.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot Dynamics 365 related production and integration issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
