Job Title: Safety Coach – HSEQ Advisor
GCU UK Ltd is a leading civil engineering company, committed to delivering excellence in compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. We are seeking an experienced Safety Coach – HSEQ Advisor based out of Gateshead, working across the Northeast of England.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Engaging Safety Workshops: Create impactful learning experiences using multimedia resources and interactive activities for our workforce that prioritizes safety.
  2. Address Workforce Safety Concerns: Implement practical, actionable solutions and stay updated on the latest safety trends and best practices.
  3. Regional Travel and Reporting: Conduct regional workshops and outreach efforts, maintaining accurate records for reporting and assessment.
  4. HSEQ Activities: Conduct day-to-day inspections, audits, investigations, and evaluate/continuous improvement of safety programs.
  5. Safety Guidance and Intervention: Evaluate and guide on safety behaviours and conditions when needed.
Requirements:
  1. Nebosh Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or higher).
  2. Proven experience in safety coaching or education.
  3. Strong understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment, and regulations.
  4. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  5. Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proficient in multimedia tools for presentations.
  6. A valid driver's license is required.

We are looking for an individual who can contribute to our team's commitment to excellence in safety. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
