**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technician to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across West Cumbria.
The successful candidate will work as part of our multidisciplinary team to provide general radiography services, including theatre services, emergency radiography, and fluoroscopic services. You will also have the opportunity to rotate through CT and contribute to our soon-to-open Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).
To be considered for this role, you must have a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience working in a similar environment is essential, and newly qualified radiographers who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.
As a Medical Imaging Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Working independently to justify, authorise, and perform radiographic examinations from various referral pathways
- Providing mentorship to student radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, and newly qualified radiographers
- Contributing to Quality Assurance initiatives

**Salary Information**
The estimated annual salary for this role is £31,500 - £43,041, depending on experience. Relocation assistance may be available for successful applicants moving to the region.
