Software Validation and Verification Specialist

We are a managed service provider partnering with an aerospace company to handle their recruitment process. They are seeking a Verification Software Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis. The role will involve developing test cases, supporting communication between teams, and following software development processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing requirements-based test cases for unit testing and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Assisting in the production of the software test plan to meet project timing goals.
- Supporting communication between the software development team and the wider project team.
- Following the approved software development process for Design Assurance Level A of RTCA DO-178C.
- Degree or equivalent in software or electrical engineering.
- Previous experience as an engineer in the development and testing of embedded software in safety-critical products.
- Previous experience developing code in C programming language.
- Experience of scripting, for example in Python.
- Familiarity with model-based development methods and auto-coding tools, such as MATLAB.
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps methodologies.
